Health effects
Claims about the drink's effects and performance have been challenged on various occasions, with the UK's Advertising Standards Authority imposing advertising restrictions in 2001 in response to complaints recorded as early as 1997.
Energy drinks have the effects that caffeine and sugar provide, but experts still argue about the possible effects of the other ingredients. Most of the effects of energy drinks on cognitive performance, such as increased attention and reaction speed, are primarily due to the presence of caffeine.There is evidence that energy drinks can increase mental and athletic performance. Performance during prolonged driving is increased after consumption of Red Bull. Other tests for physical performance showed results such as increased endurance and power. Red Bull energy drink increased upper body muscle endurance during repeated Wingate tests in young healthy adults. Excessive or repeated consumption of energy drinks can lead to cardiac and psychiatric conditions.
The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) concluded that exposure to taurine and glucuronolactone at the levels presently used in energy drinks is not a safety concern. In a separate analysis, they also concluded that there is insufficient evidence to support a number of commercial health claims about taurine. A review published in 2008 found no documented reports of negative or positive health effects associated with the amount of taurine used in energy drinks, including Red Bull. The review also states that though the caffeine and sugar levels in the energy drink are comparable to those present in coffee and fruit juice respectively, these levels have been shown to cause adverse health effects.
In its scientific opinion on the safety of caffeine of 2015, the EFSA concluded that "consumption of other constituents of energy drinks at concentrations commonly present in such beverages would not affect the safety of single doses of caffeine up to 200 mg." Also, the consumption of alcohol, leading to a blood alcohol content of about 0.08%, would, according to the EFSA, not affect the safety of single doses of caffeine up to 200 mg. Up to these levels of intake, caffeine is unlikely to mask the subjective perception of alcohol intoxication. Habitual use of caffeine up to 400 mg per day does not.
According to SAMHSA, "the number of emergency department (ED) visits" among people over age 12 related to energy drinks doubled between 2007 and 2011 in the US (from 10,068 to 20,783).

9月20日に発売開始されたiPhone 11/iPhone 11 Pro/iPhone 11 Pro Max。すでに入手して、新しいカメラ機能で写真を撮りまくっている方も多いことでしょう。かくいう筆者も即日入手。iPhone XSからiPhone 11 Proへ機種変しました。
で、恒例（？）の移行作業は、仕事もあったため自宅に帰ってからゆっくり行ったのですが、iOSの進化とともに年々簡単になっていますね。これだけ簡単なら、購入して速攻移行してもよかったと思いました。そこで、簡単に移行するポイントを伝授しておきましょう。
しかたがないので、容量の大きい写真や動画をすべてGoogle Photoでバックアップ（ふだんからバックアップしていました）。本体内の写真と動画をすべて削除することで、移行できる容量まで減らしています。購入する際、容量だけは注意しましょう。
では、移行手順を追っていきます。
まずポイント1の通り、移行元のiOSは11以降である必要があります。筆者は念のためiPhone 11と同じiOS13にしてから実行していますが、iOS12で確認したところ、特に問題ありませんでした。ポイント3のWi-Fiが使える場所で移行作業をするというのは、アプリをダウンロードしたりするためです。店舗によってはフリーWi-Fiがあるので、それを活用するのもいいでしょう。
購入したiPhone 11は、キャリア版の場合、店舗で起動して確認するため、すでにホーム画面になっているかと思います。その場合は、「設定」の「一般」から「リセット」を選択肢、「すべてのコンテンツと設定を消去」を実行します。
キャリア版でも配達されたり、SIMフリー版なら、SIMを入れて起動すれば、初期設定の画面からスタートするので問題ありません。移行作業はここからスタートします。
初期設定が始まると、まず「日本語」を選択し地域も「日本」を選択します。すると「クイックスタート」の画面が表れます。ここで、起動している移行元のiPhoneを近づけると、画面に「新しいiPhoneを設定」が表れるので、「続ける」をタップします。
iPhone 11の画面が「ほかのiPhoneを待機中...」となり、イメージが表示されます。それを移行元のiPhoneで、丸い枠内に入れると移行元のiPhoneのパスコードを入力する画面になり、パスコードを入力します。
その後、アクティベートが始まり、しばらくすると、Face IDの設定になります。登録したら（あとで設定も可）、続いて移行元からデータを転送する作業へ移ります。
▲バックアップデータから移行したいとか、Androidから移行したいという人は、「データを転送」のときに「その他のオプション」を選択すると、従来のメニューが表示される。
「続ける」をタップすると、移行元のiPhoneから直接データを転送してくれます。利用規約などに同意し、ApplePayの設定（あとで設定も可）などをしたあと、転送を開始します。このため、これまで面倒だったバックアップ作業が不要となり、転送するデータが容量内に収まれば、あとは終わるのを待っているだけでほとんどの移行作業は終了します。

▲転送が完了すると、インストールされているアプリが次々とダウンロードされる。

再設定が必要なアプリもある
ホーム画面が表れると、アプリのダウンロードが開始され、元の状態になるには、しばらく時間がかかります。また、一部のアプリはここまでの移行作業では反映されないものもあり、それらは個別に対応する必要があります。別途設定が必要の主なアプリは以下のとおりです。- LINEのアプリ（LINE、LINE Pay、LINEカーナビなど）
- Googleのアプリ（Google、Gmail、Googleカレンダーなど）
- ドコモメール
- モバイルSuica
- 楽天ポイント
LINE
まず移行元のiPhoneから、LINEを起動し、「設定」の「アカウント引き継ぎ」をオンにします。続いて、iPhone 11でLINEを起動。「本人確認する」をタップし、メアドとパスワードを入力します。「引き継ぎ認証」画面で、「続行」をタップすれば移行完了します。▲移行前のiPhoneでLINEを起動し、「設定」の「アカウント引き継ぎ」をオンにする。あとは、iPhone 11からLINEを起動し、本人確認などをする。
ドコモメール
機種変してSIMを差し替えると、メッセージアプリにドコモからメッセージが届ききます。その中にアプリの追加とドコモメールの設定方法が記されています。記載されたURLへアクセスすると、dアカウントのログイン後、プロファイルをダウンロードします。ダウンロードしたプロファイルは、「設定」から「プロファイルがダウンロードされました」というメニューが表示されるので、それをタップ。プロファイルのインストールを実行しましょう。実行すると、アプリのショートカットが多数ホーム画面上に表示され、必要に応じて削除したり、インストールを実行する。ドコモメールはメールアプリに登録されるので、特に設定する必要はありません。

モバイルSuica
移行元のiPhoneで、WalletアプリのSuicaを選択し、「設定」から「このカードを削除」を実行。その後、iPhone 11でWalletアプリを起動し、「追加」から「Suica」を選択。自分の名前と残高が表示されるので確認し「次へ」をタップすれば完了。▲移行前のiPhoneでSuicaを削除。iPhone 11のWalletアプリからSuicaを追加すればいい。

以上が以前のiPhoneからiPhone 11へ機種変したときの、移行方法です。データの直接移動が可能となり、バックアップしてそれを戻すというような作業が必要なくなりました。これなら、店頭で受け取ったあと、すぐに移行できるでしょう。ただし、移行するデータ量によっては、長時間掛かる可能性もあるので、外で移行作業する人はご注意を。
